Asperula odoratum - Herbaceous perennial. 15 -20 cms height, 30-40 cms width. Prefers shade, and also grows well under other plants. Leaves will burn easily in too much sun. White sweetly fragrant flowers in spring and summer. Aromatic foliage. Does best in a moist rich well drained soil. Good ground cover plant for a shady spot. Can be evergreen in areas with mild winters. A creeping, mat forming plant. This plant is eaten by all grazing animals, and helps increase their milk yield. It is especially good for cows. A medicinal plant for animals.
