Teucrium scorodonia - Evergreen perennial. 30-60 cms height, 50 cms width. Sun to part shade. Yellow flowers, that are very attractive to bees and bumblebees. Rough downy dark green leaves. Grows well under trees and shrubs. Grows in most well drained soil types. Frost hardy. Drought tolerant once established. Animals eat the wood sage. Medicinal plant for animals. Resembles hops in smell and taste and is used as a substitute for hops.
