Hippophae rhamnoides - Expected back in stock late December2024/ Early January 2025. Limit 6 per person. I have unsexed plants for sale at this stage. Deciduous shrub growing 2 to 4 metres height, native to Europe and Asia. This frost hardy plant has many uses including food, traditional medicine, animal fodder, cosmetic industry and many more. The fruits are very high in vitamins and healthy nutrients and are consumed by many people. The leaves can also be dried to make a herbal tea. The whole plant has been used since ancient times, with ancient records describing its many uses. Excellent as an animal fodder plant, the fruits and leaves improving the all over health of animals and said to improve their milk and egg production and improve growth rates in poorly animals. Sea Buckthorn roots also fix nitrogen in the soil. Will grow in most soil types, including poor and salty soils. Likes well drained soils. Sea Buckthorn requires a male and a female plant to produce fruit.

We will be having a stall at the Wallis Creek Watergardens Open Days on the 7th & 8th December 2024 from 10am to 2pm each day. There will be a good selection of products currently available. If anyone would like to put in orders for pick up on either of those days please email for availability. Orders will need to be paid for in full before pick up.
Christmas - last day for postage will be the 9th December & 1st day postage will be 13th January 2025. Orders can still be made during this period.
