Mentha diemenica - Native Wild Mint grows naturally in South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales. Grows quickly to form a lush green ground cover and reaches 15cms height. Mauve flowers from spring through summer. Can grow in full sun to full shade. Native Wild Mint can be used as a culinary herb and also has medicinal uses. Prefers moist soil and will grow in most soil types. Can become dormant in cold, dry conditions.
