Kaempferia parviflora - A very rare perennial herb from Asia, highly valued as a medicinal plant, with a wide variety of applications. The rhizomes are black/ purple coloured. Grow in a shady spot and in well drained soil. Black Ginger produces a small pretty white and purple flower.
